Nestled in a fog-shrouded valley where ancient roads converge, Misthelm sits on the edge of civilization and chaos. Once a minor trading outpost, its strategic location has turned it into a hotspot for opportunists, exiles, entrepreneurs, and criminals alike.

The town has no king. No official ruler. Its governance is an informal arrangement of merchant lords, landowners, militia captains, and backroom dealers—all vying for dominance. Misthelm is a place where a nobody can become somebody, and a somebody can vanish without a trace.
